On September 6, 2022, we significantly improved our trading conditions: the maximum available leverage for all types of AMarkets trading accounts was increased to 1:3000.
The increased leverage will reduce the potential marginal burden on clients. Now, when trading gold and silver, your marginal load will be 15 times smaller, and when trading currency pairs – 3 times smaller.
How it works
Let’s consider a simple example.
Previously, to open 1 lot of XAU/USD with 1:200 leverage, a trader needed an $850 margin.
Now, if you apply a 1:3000 leverage to the same trade, your margin will decrease by a factor of 15, i.e., the required margin to open this position will be only $57.
As a result, you’ll have $793 more free funds in your account, which provides an additional advantage and allows you to open more positions and increase your potential profit.
Please note that leverage ratios of 1:2000 and 1:3000 are not available by default as they carry a higher risk. To activate them, a trader must close at least 10 orders on currency pairs and metals (pending orders are not taken into account) with a total volume of 5 lots or more across all live accounts in the client’s Personal Area.
The leverage ratio available by default is 1:1000.
