The order was closed by “Stop Loss”, although there was no such price on the chart

Novice traders often ask this question regarding the short sale positions. In this case, a trader usually doesn’t account for the spread. A SELL order is opened at the Bid price. The chart is also plotted at this price. The order is closed at the Ask price. This price is usually a bit higher than the Bid price because it includes the bid-ask spread. You can configure your trading platform for the Ask price to be also displayed for you. To do this, click on the F8 chart window. In the window that opens, put a tick “Show Ask Line” in the “General” tab.
